Etsy Search Terms On My Radar Lately
Oh, Etsy. My forever muse.
Etsy can be an absolute gem for finding unique vintage and handmade places, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t as overwhelming as it is full of opportunity.
I can spend hours perusing pages on Etsy searching for the perfect piece, but I think the hardest part is finding where to start. To make it a little easier, I’ve rounded up some of the search terms that have been on my radar lately..
Vintage Glass Lamp
There’s just something so breathtaking about glass lamps. The way they catch the light at different times of the day and make their own magic is awe-inspiring.
I’ve been searching “Vintage Glass Lamp”, “Vintage Glass Lamp Base”, and “Antique Lamp Base” lately to find some beauties. The lamp (with shade) featured here is actually one of 2 that I found on eBay - never be afraid to use the same search terms on eBay too!
2. Pleated Lamp Shade
Ah, yes. The infamous pleated lampshade. These are definitely having a moment right now, but for good reason!
I’ll save you the trouble and let you know the details on this stunner. Stumbled across the lovely shop LeKrazyHorse on Etsy a few years ago and they have the best pleated lampshades, and such great quality too.
However, if you’re searching for something at a lower price point, or one of kind, I’d recommend trying the following search terms: “Pleated Lamp Shade”, “Accordion Lamp Shade”, “Vintage Pleated Lamp Shade”, and any other variations you can come up with!
3. Ribbed Glass Bowl
Can you tell I have a glass obsession lately? Oops.
I’ve forever been a fan of anything ribbed so when I discovered you could get ribbed glass pieces… game over.
Search terms I’m using in this area lately are: “Ribbed Glass Bowl”, “Ribbed Glass Dish”, “Fluted Glass Bowl”, and “Fluted Crystal Dish” to name a few.
4. Vintage Ceramic Pitcher
The pitcher that started a frenzy on Instagram in all her glory. I found the link to this one specifically, so leaving that here for you guys!
To find this beauty, I scrolled through pages upon pages of “Vintage Ceramic Pitcher”, but I’d also recommend trying “Vintage Ceramic Jug”, “Floral Ceramic Pitcher”, “Vintage Porcelain Pitcher”, and of course, any other variations you can think of. Remember, even one word or a slightly different spelling can completely change what comes up!

That’s all for today, friends! If you found this helpful, please let me know. I’m always browsing Etsy, so I hope to do many more of these in the future - Happy Shopping!
